Arun Radysh-Haasis lives in a remote glen at the fringes of the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. He began woodturning at the age of 14 with a local woodturner and from the moment he started, he fell in love with the process.

Arun’s woodturning is inspired by nature and organic design. His work reveals a subtle sensitivity in his approach to the materials and form. He sources his wood locally and works in his hand crafted studio where he creates artistic pieces that include sculptures, natural edge forms, and large-scale woodturning projects.

Arun is delighted when woodturners pass on their skills and knowledge to the younger generation. He enjoys working with other artists and professionals in order to keep craftsmanship and artistic talents alive in our age of technology.
